Narmada Kidney Foundation (NKF) is a registered Non Governmental Organization (NGO) set up in 1993. Seeing the rising incidence of chronic kidney disease, its devastating medical complications and its economic as well as social implications Dr. Bharat Shah - one of the eminent Nephrologists of Mumbai realized the need to set up the foundation. He set up this Foundation in the year 1993 with the support of like minded people. We at foundation believe that knowledge is strength supreme and sharing knowledge will help achieve our following mission.

The Cause
Narmada Kidney Foundation believe in helping Kidney patients & their families understand Kidney Disease & options available for treatment. Also guide the patients & their families to cope with the disease & lead a near normal life. We also organize events which can inspire confidence and hope in patients that they can live well with Kidney Disease. Narmada Kidney Foundation, will organize a short film competition “Kidney Chronicles – Kissey Kidney Ke” for the eighth consecutive year to celebrate World Kidney Day on 09th March 2023.
